About Our Site

Please note that we do not have the resources (time nor money) to assist with individual searches for missing people.

Find Lost Ones was launched in October 2001 by Colby Brown with special thanks to Bob Treadwell for help with the configuration of the site. "We really don't know what to say about the inception of Find Lost Ones. Don't know why we started it. It just happened. We, of course, have received many letters of thanks."

We have found this site more rewarding than probably anything we've ever done. We have managed to helped a lot of people, through the Grace of God, find their lost loved ones and that gives a warm and fuzzy feeling inside that's undescribable and have never charged anything because that feeling in itself is payment enough.

We have so many heart felt emails from people whose lives are more complete/solid so to speak due to this site. Why not post information about yourself and any of your history and let them find you? Someone may very well read your information and know someone you could be related to etc. or you may have a friend or relative that has been looking for you.

Under New Management

To better server a growing global community, Genealogy Today has taken the reigns of the site effective January 2004. In addition to a minor facelift, the search engine has been replaced and the posts have been integrated into the Missing Persons Register, an existing databases managed by Genealogy Today.

All login/password information has been preserved. In addition, all members may use the same login/password at Genealogy Today to take advantage of their free research tools.
